Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Travis AI ("Service"), operated by Salloq Software, Inc. ("Salloq", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding agreement to use Travis AI. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys.
• You must not share your API keys publicly or embed them in client-side code accessible to end users without appropriate restrictions.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at security@travis-ai.net if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Travis AI to:

• Generate, distribute, or facilitate illegal content of any kind.
• Harass, deceive, or defraud users or third parties.
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or billing controls.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service without prior written consent.
• Upload knowledge base content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Travis AI offers paid subscription plans billed monthly or annually. All plans include a 14-day free trial at the Starter tier. After the trial, you will be billed at the rate for your selected plan. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

5. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance with or without advance notice. We will endeavour to provide notice for planned downtime exceeding 30 minutes.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you upload (knowledge base files, conversation data). You grant Salloq a limited license to process that content solely to operate the Service. Salloq retains all rights to the Travis AI platform, software, and branding.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Travis AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any AI-generated content before acting on it or presenting it to end users.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Salloq's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from the dashboard. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 90 days then deleted.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sacramento County, California.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes by email.
